The Challenge

Sustainable Molokai works to restore ʻāina momona (thriving people and abundant land) on Molokai by uniting traditional practices with modern sustainability solutions.

Their Webflow website had a backlog of tech and formatting issues and didn’t look as professional as the work behind it. The small team also needed to be able to keep it updated after the project ended.

What I Built

A website update project in Webflow:

  • Fixed the site’s tech and formatting issues, including mobile responsiveness and layout problems across devices.
  • Refined spacing, typography, and imagery so the site presents the organization more professionally on any screen.
  • A new Impact page built from scratch, with embedded interactive dashboards that let visitors and funders explore program outcomes directly on the site.
  • Trained staff to manage updates on their own in Webflow.

The Result

A more professional site, and a team that can maintain it without outside help.

"He was timely, organized, flexible, and adaptable in the web development services that he rendered to us. He was kind, patient, and extremely quick to respond to our requests and helped us troubleshoot many tech and formatting issues with our website, which now looks a lot more professional. He trained some of us on how to independently manage updates through our web development platform, ensuring that we could sustainably maintain updating efforts after the end of the project."
